How do I use AI Actions?

AI Actions provides actions for Apple Shortcuts. Open the Shortcuts app, create a new shortcut, and search for "AI Actions" to find available actions like Ask ChatGPT, Ask Sonar, and Generate Image.

What AI models are available?

Core tier: GPT-5 Nano (text completion). Advanced tier: Sonar by Perplexity (web search), Gemini Flash Image (image generation and editing).

How do subscriptions work?

AI Actions offers Core, Advanced, and Pro tiers with daily action limits. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Can I use my own API keys?

Yes. Go to Settings in the app and enter your own OpenAI, Google, or Perplexity API key. This bypasses rate limits and uses your own account directly.

How do I restore my subscription?

Open the app and tap "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and transfers automatically.

My shortcut says "rate limit exceeded"

Each subscription tier has daily action limits. Limits reset at midnight UTC. Upgrade your tier or use your own API key (BYOK) for unlimited usage.
