App Privacy Policy

AI Actions provides AI-powered actions for Apple Shortcuts. This policy describes how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

When you use AI Actions, your prompts and inputs are sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Perplexity) to generate responses. These requests are routed through our backend API. We do not store your prompts or AI responses.

Authentication

AI Actions uses anonymous user identifiers for rate limiting and subscription verification. No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected during normal app usage.

Subscription Management

Subscription status is verified through Adapty, which communicates with Apple's StoreKit servers. We do not have access to your payment information. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.

Third-Party Analytics

AI Actions uses Mixpanel for anonymous product analytics to understand how features are used and improve the app. Mixpanel collects:

- **Usage events**: actions performed, endpoints called, error rates - **Device information**: app version, device type, OS version

All data is associated with a random anonymous identifier. No personally identifiable information is collected, and Mixpanel does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA). No data is shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

User-Provided API Keys (BYOK)

If you provide your own API keys, those keys are stored securely in your device's Keychain and sent directly to the respective AI provider. We do not store or have access to your API keys on our servers.
